Moonlight

"We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls." -- Mother Teresa

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.--Buddha

Beach

“We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”

--Mother Teresa

“It’s hard for me to put into words why I like the beach so much. Everything about it is renewing for me, almost like therapy...Beach Therapy”

--Amy Dykens

Personally I always loved the beach. When ever I go to a beach it feels like its just another day in Paradise.

The Birds

"I hope you love birds too. It is economical. It saves going to heaven", by Emily Dickinson

"In Order to see birds it is necessary to become part of the silence", by Robert Lynd

"The reason birds can fly and we can;t simply that they have perfect faith, for faith is necessary to have wings", by James M. Barrie.

Why does a crane stand up with one leg?

To maintain the body temperature they stand on only one leg so that they can reduce loss of body heat as much as possible. A crane's body is covered almost all over with feathers to keep it warm. But the crane loses heat through its legs because there are no feathers on them. To save as much heat as it can, the crane stands on only one leg and tucks the other one up against its body. Most birds rest their breast on the ground or a tree branch and tuck their wing when they sleep. Cranes and some other water birds often sleep standing in water. Cranes can even stand on one leg all night and it doesn't bother falling down

Dolphins_A fish with a Womb

"Then one day I was late
and I rushed out to the reef
she was not waiting for me
and I cried out my grief...

I thought I had lost her
and the fault was all mine
I dived over the edge
to forever end my lonely time...

But as I touched the crystal surface
I became what I longed to be
my body shimmered and changed
and I became a dolphin of the sea

And out in the distance I saw her
Waiting beyond the reef
and I finally joined the one I loved

and left behind my life of grief."

Underground Waterfall

Ruby Falls is a 145-foot high underground waterfall located within Lookout Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Its a quarter mile walk inside the caves of the look out mountain which will take you to the core where we can see this naturally falling water from a height of approximately 45 meters. The natural view as such is pitch dark but the artificial lights enlightens the view and that's the view I tried to capture in my camera.

Sea Lion

I am a big fan of Sea lion. I don't have particular reason for that but my liking towards it even doubled when I saw this video in Animal Planet where 3 sharks were chasing this lonely Sea Lion and it was so smart that it knows whats his strength is and used it to escape from the 3 hungry predators. Sea Lions can naturally dodge were easily under water and make invasive movements and in our scene above, this Sea Lion found  sweet spot around floating glacier and swam until the sharks got so tired that they literraly gave up and started moving away looking for another prey. It was very impressive.

Just sharing some picture that I took during my trip to Florida in December 2010.

This following fact is nothing to do with Sea Lion but its interesting......

Operation Sea Lion  was Germany's plan to invade the UK during World War II, beginning in 1940. To have had any chance of success, however, the operation would have required air and naval supremacy over the English Channel. With the German defeat in the Battle of Britain, Sea Lion was postponed indefinitely on 17 September 1940 and never carried out. I Still wonder why Hitler would have named this operation "Sea Lion".
